DIY Guide: How to Install  Bird Spikes

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Measure the Area

Identify the places where birds usually sit — balcony railings, window ledges, AC tops, signboards, or pipes. Measure the total length to calculate how many spike strips you’ll need.

2. Clean the Surface

Wipe away dust, dirt, or bird droppings. A clean surface ensures the adhesive or screws hold the spikes firmly.

3. Position the Spikes

Place the strips on the surface to test the fit. Make sure there are no gaps between strips, as birds can squeeze through even tiny spaces.

4. Fix the Strips
